| An addon for Polaris IRC that works with Winamp.
When you play an mp3 in winamp, an advertisement is sent to Polaris IRC to the
channels to specify or all channels.

| Installation |
| Just open the mircex.exe to install the Winamp
EX control plugin. Then, open winamp and hit CTRL+K (to bring up the preferences
window) and go to Plug-ins then General Purpose. Double-click on the "mIRC
Control EX Plug-In v0.1" and you will see this window:
Replace the /me is playing %f with /ddemp3 %f like it is shown above. Then, unzip the mp3addon.ini to your mIRC\Addons directory (if you installed polaris in C:\Polaris, then extract mp3addon.ini to C:\Polaris\Addons). Now, when you play a song in Winamp, a msg is sent to Polaris as long as the Enabled box is checked above. So, once you have the addon loaded into mIRC and the plugin loaded into Winamp, play some mp3s! |
